Syllabus
Aims
Players are equipped to represent the club at both a junior and low adult team standard. This course is designed to develop the skills needed for club competition.
Outline of course
- Basket drills with coaches to develop ease/efficiency of swings and appropriate grips
- Controlling the ball and rallying in pairs from the baseline
- Use of spins
- Developing proficiency in all five playing situations: when serving, returning, at the baseline, approaching and when opponents approach
- Individual and team competition – advanced tactics for singles and doubles
