Syllabus
Aims
Players are well on the way towards competing at a local club level and are encouraged to take part in match-play events and other internal/external tournaments. This course is a transition for those players previously on a Green course and for others of the appropriate standard.
Outline of course
- Complex footwork and agility through ladders
- Basket drills with coaches to develop ease/efficiency of swings and appropriate grips
- Controlling the ball and rallying in pairs from the baseline
- Use of spins
- Singles and doubles positions
- Individual and team competition
